The City of Austin has asked that we correct the misinformation found in my post of 28 December 2022. The post noted that Austin was saving $5 million by buying EV’s.
In reality: The City of Austin’s original savings projections were $3.5 million dollars over 10 years if they replaced 330 internal combustion engine vehicles with battery electric vehicles, however the current projections are closer to $5 million.
