Pointe au Chien is still in need of homes rebuilt, three years after hurricane Ida hit their community. They were in the eye of the storm for 8 hours.

The Mennonites have committed to volunteer labor to rebuild homes, but they need to be promised the funds to do so. After many months of efforts, this community effort is still in need of $850,000. Folks can send letters of commitment as well! If you are not able to make a contribution now, your letter would need to state what you can contribute over the next 1.5 years.
Through generous hands and hearts, we have 2 homes completed with 45 to go.
