Claire Reifschneider (she/her) is an MPA candidate at Tulane University. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she first came to New Orleans for undergrad at Tulane, majoring in political science and environmental studies and minoring in public policy and German. Upon graduating in May 2025, she continued on to her masters and is excited to spend another year in the city!
Most of Claire’s undergraduate research and coursework involved assessment and advocacy initiatives for environmental justice communities in the Gulf South. Her long-term career goals involve working in climate and energy policy and continuing that mission. She is looking forward to spending her Fall semester working with GNOICC as a policy intern and learning from all this organization has to offer!
