The Greater New Orleans Interfaith Climate Coalition is delighted to introduce Tiye Davis, our new Administrative Coordinator.

Tiye Davis (she/her) is a community-rooted leader and the Administrative Coordinator at the Greater New Orleans Interfaith Climate Coalition (GNOICC), where she supports faith-based climate justice efforts through organizational planning, fundraising coordination, and project management. She previously served as Director of Partnerships at Our Voice Nuestra Voz, where she built coalitions to advance educational equity and racial justice. Tiye has worked with organizations such as the New Orleans Youth Alliance, Crescent City Corps, TrueSchool, the Black Teachers Collaborative, and Tulane University, always centering on youth leadership, Black liberation, and community healing. She has held board positions with the Louisiana Abortion Fund and Dancing Grounds and serves on the steering committee of Black Feminist Futures. A former classroom teacher and an educator at heart, Tiye is also a graduate of Temple University (BA), Louisiana College (MA), and Tulane University (MBA). Outside of work, you will find her stretching and breathing as she is a trauma-informed yoga practitioner, mothering a 2-year-old by singing and laughing, and consistently trying to convince her husband to make new recipes from Pinterest.Tiye Davis
