“Find a way to reconnect”

Writing for Medill Reports, a publication of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Diane Leane has an amazing profile of interfaith eco-action in our area. Many folks in our coalition are quoted, including Deacon Joseph M. Clavijo, Rev. Gregory Manning, Rev. Jay Angerer, Rev. Kristina Peterson, and David Shepard.

“Humanity as a whole has become alienated from the Earth over the last several centuries,” Clavijo said. “One of the big things we have to do is find a way to reconnect where we are today with the Earth and the process.”

It’s a really great article which gives a good picture of our current efforts and struggles.
