| Mardi Gras is a time for celebration, but the aftermath leaves behind tons of beads and throws that often end up in landfills or clogging storm drains. Fortunately, local organizations are stepping up to make bead recycling easier than ever!
Where to Recycle:
- On the Parade Route – Recycle Dat is operating eight recycling stations along St. Charles Avenue and Napoleon Avenue on Feb. 27, March 1, and March 2.
- Hotels – Fifteen hotels in the French Quarter and downtown have drop-off bins through March 2.
- Year-Round Drop-Offs – ArcGNO has locations in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, and St. Tammany Parishes.
