The Greater New Orleans Interfaith Climate Coalition held its annual Visioning Summit on November 18, with the purpose of spending dedicated time together to recommit to GNOICC’s mission and core values. Approximately 30 persons attended this meeting. Rev. Kathy Lee-Cornell was the facilitator for the meeting. She ably guided us via activities which connected us more closely with one another.
We reflected on challenges, including identification of the “boulders” which inhibit our actions; in contrast, opportunities include making wise changes which “free the flow of water”. One tangible result of our day’s activities, particularly during the final hour, was significant progress in the development of goals and plans for 2026. Even more special was the opportunity for us to gather in person for a day.
You are welcome to join GNOICC in our endeavors. The General Assembly is the biweekly online gathering in which we review the recent actions of our teams and the Board of Directors and our progress toward our goals. See the calendar below for dates and other details.
