We all have heard about the UN Climate Change Conference currently being held in Dubai, UAE. But what do we know about it and what can we expect from it?
First of all, what does COP28 stands for?
28th edition of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-28)
There are about 80,000 delegates representing over 190 “parties” are gathered in Dubai for this conference, from November 30 to December 12. Our Mayor Cantrell is one of them.
The aim of the Conference is to follow through on the landmark climate negotiations of CoP-21 held in Paris back in 2015.
